If your truck is factory equipped with the later design plastic / aluminum QTU (quick take up) design master cylinder (with a rear register size larger than 1.800"), it will be necessary for you to replace it with a later model '96-'99 C/K series version factory equipped with hydraulic brake assist - MC8126 or equivalent applicable cross reference version.
All with factory vacuum booster as shown above using a stamped steel firewall standoff bracket riveted to the booster (factory booster stands about 3" from the firewall and bolts down from the engine side of firewall)
All Chevy / GMC Trucks with Old Body Style (OBS) front end as shown above including the "V" Series Suburban
